Why would an older girl want to be a Girl Scout?

Older girls are able to do lots of things that younger Girl Scouts can’t. Older girls can: plan and budget for their own trip, visit other cities, states and even countries and participate in amazing leadership and community service opportunities all over the world. Besides, there is no better way to get away from the stress of middle school, high school, SATs and college applications than a nice relaxing trip away with your troop, whether in a tent, a cabin, or aboard a luxury cruise ship!

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

girl scout graphic girls plantingDo you want to make a difference in the lives of people in our community? Do you enjoy helping others while spending time with your friends? Girl Scouts is a great way to be creative, get involved, and work together to really make a difference in something you care about. Need to fulfill community service hours for high school requirements? Another special thing that older Scouts can do is to mentor younger girls and get them excited about all that Girl Scouts has to offer.
